"Snow White" Walt Disney Studios 1937   Gouache on trimmed production celluloid applied to a new sheet of acetate and set over a matching watercolor production background. Snow White's friends implore the reluctant dwarf to rush to her rescue in this outstanding setup. The background is in original, untrimmed, condition. All production notations and peg holes are still visible along the bottom of the piece. All studio stamps and sign offs are clearly visible on the back off the background sheet. The cels of Grumpy and the birds are in mint condition. It's safe to say that one would be hard pressed to find a better matching setup of Grumpy than this one. The piece was originally setup at Disney for sale through Courvoisier Galleries. It has a contemporary Courvoisier label. Matted size 9" x 11.5"
