The atmospheric forest background has been attributed to famed Disney concept/background artist Gustave Tenggren. This is one of only approximately 6 Tenggren backgrounds to have ever come up for sale. Tenggren's concept works have sold privately for as much as $100,000. The cels of the animals are from Snow White, which was released the same year as Little Hiawatha. This is the largest and quite possibly the finest setup ever to be sold from Little Hiawatha.
